The Withlacoochee State Trail is a long paved rail trail run by Florida State Parks. Its southern section passes through eastern Hernando County, where the Ridge Manor trailhead near SR 50 has parking, picnic tables and restrooms. It links with the Good Neighbor Trail to Brooksville and passes Lake Townsen Regional Park.
