West Blalock Park is a City of Venice park across from the Venice Museum and Community Center. It has a small playground, statues of a manatee, sea turtle, Florida panther and tarpon, a butterfly garden and a gazebo. The Monty Andrews Arboretum has more than 100 species of trees and palms with information signs, and the park hosts the annual Christmas tree lighting.
