About this place A Florida state park built around Weeki Wachee Spring, where live mermaid shows have been staged in an underwater theater since 1947 and are included with park admission. The park also has the Buccaneer Bay spring-fed water park, riverboat rides and wildlife shows, and the clear Weeki Wachee River is popular for paddling.
