About this place

Skyway Fishing Pier State Park is made up of sections of the old Sunshine Skyway bridge that now serve as fishing piers at the mouth of Tampa Bay. The North Pier is on the St. Petersburg side, at the north rest area of the bridge approach. The piers are popular for fishing and watching boats and dolphins; check the park page before visiting, as parts of the piers are under repair.
