About this place Sarasota Jungle Gardens is a long-running attraction of tropical gardens and animal exhibits on Bay Shore Road. It has more than 200 animals, including parrots, macaws, birds of prey, primates, alligators, crocodiles and other reptiles. Visitors can hand-feed the free-roaming flamingos, and short bird, reptile and wildlife shows run during the day. Admission is charged; children 3 and under are free.
