The Safford House Museum is the restored 1883 home of Anson P.K. Safford, one of the founders of Tarpon Springs, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The City of Tarpon Springs runs it as a museum, furnished with period pieces and original family items, and tours tell the story of the family and the early town.
