About this place The Palm Harbor Museum is run by the volunteer Palm Harbor Historical Society in the Hartley House, a home built between 1914 and 1919 from a Sears kit with concrete blocks cast on site. Pinellas County bought the house in 1996 and it opened as a museum in 1998, telling the story of the Palm Harbor area.
