Old Miakka Preserve is a Sarasota County natural area on Fruitville Road east of Verna Road. It has marked unpaved trails, mostly primitive and rated easy, used for hiking, birding and horseback riding, and a picnic shelter. There is no drinking water on site, so bring your own.
