The Island Branch Library in Holmes Beach serves Anna Maria Island near the beach. Its large children's room for ages 0 to 12 has books, games, puzzles, toys, crafts and a parenting collection, and the building is known for its indoor and outdoor murals. Programs include early literacy backpacks and workshops for all ages, plus study rooms and a teen tech room.
