Honeymoon Island State Park in Dunedin is a barrier island reached by the Dunedin Causeway, with Gulf beaches, a concession with food and beach supplies, and nature trails. The Osprey and Pelican Cove trails form a loop of about 2.5 to 3 miles where large osprey nests can be seen. The Rotary Centennial Nature Center explains the history, plants and animals of Honeymoon and Caladesi islands, and the ferry to Caladesi Island leaves from here.
