Diamondback Nature Preserve is a 9-acre county preserve on Old Tampa Bay, just north of the Howard Frankland Bridge. Short hiking trails pass through hammock, mangrove forest and along a tidal creek, with bird watching along the way. Parking is in the lot in front of the FBI building, with the gate at its west end. Leashed pets are allowed. Run by Hillsborough County.
