Butler Park is a 42-acre City of North Port park with multi-purpose athletic fields, an outdoor basketball court, paved walking paths and a pavilion. Its canoe/kayak launch on the Blueway is a popular starting point for paddling trips. The Morgan Family Community Center and the North Port Aquatic Center are both inside the park, and there are restrooms and a concession stand.
