About this place

Brooker Creek Headwaters Nature Preserve protects 1,121 acres of oak hammocks, pine woods, grassy meadows and cypress swamps in Lutz. A marked 4.3-mile hiking trail winds through the preserve, and it connects to the Upper Tampa Bay Trail in three places. There is a small parking lot with a kiosk and picnic table; there is no nature center. Entry is free and leashed pets are allowed. Run by Hillsborough County.
