Alderman's Ford Conservation Park sits where the north and south prongs of the Alafia River meet. Families can walk or bike a 1.9-mile paved loop, cross boardwalks and footbridges through shaded cypress and oak woods, and launch a canoe or kayak on the river. The park also has picnic shelters, fishing and bird watching, and primitive and youth group campsites. Swimming is not allowed. Run by Hillsborough County.
